The University of Tartu has bilateral partnership agreements with 72 partner universities from 26 countries. The goal of UT's co-operative work is to build and develop links between the University of Tartu and its partner universities and to further mutually beneficial and diverse co-operation ties.
For entering into a partnership agreement, the primary considerations are:
- the prospective partner's profile and academic stature;
- At least two faculties must also have indicated their interest in the co-operation.
Within the bilateral cooperation, our researchers can invite colleagues from partner universities for short visits to UT, as well as visit the partner universities. For visiting a partner, please check the opportunities with the coordinator for researcher exchange. More informationa is available on the internal website.
